“Discovering Our Heritage” - voivodeship stage

DISCOVERING OUR HERITAGE (POZNAJEMY OJCOWIZNĘ) - WE HAVE REASONS TO BE PROUD!

Today President Magdalena Gabryszak, together
with the participants who qualified
for the voivodeship stage of the National Youth Sightseeing Competition “Discovering Our Heritage” (Poznajemy Ojcowiznę), attended the ceremony summing up its 33rd edition
It was a special day full of emotions!
Before we learned the results, we had a chance to look behind the scenes of beauty - with our guide Krzysztof Ciećkiewicz we visited the Faience Factory (Fabryka Fajansu), where we saw how hand-decorated ceramics are made
We then went to the City Hall, where the awards gala took place
We were welcomed by the President of the PTTK Kujawy Branch in Włocławek - Andrzej Tyrjan

And now the most important part… OUR PUPILS SWEPT THE BOARD!

Individual entries:
1st place - Zofia Leśniewska (Primary School No. 2
in Żnin)
“History written in notes. A story
of generations joined by music”

2nd place - Emilia Owczarczak (Primary School No. 2
in Żnin)
“Pałuki embroidery as intangible cultural heritage”

3rd place - Anna Jabłońska (Primary School No. 2
in Żnin)
“Roots that give strength. On the bond with my mum
and grandma and on family traditions”

1st place - Oliwier Domagała, Jan Grzewiński, Patrycja Wiśniewska (Non-public Primary School in Brzyskorzystew)
“A symbol of perseverance and cooperation. On a school celebrating its jubilee, with 200 years of history”

Multimedia entry:
4th place - Jan Meller (Primary School No. 2 in Żnin)
