National Reading of “Dziady” by Adam Mickiewicz

in the National Reading (Narodowe Czytanie) of “Dziady” (Forefathers' Eve) by Adam Mickiewicz. The event was also attended by Magdalena Gabryszak, President of the PTTK Pałuki Branch in Żnin.

The National Reading of “Dziady” by Adam Mickiewicz is behind us!
In a special atmosphere we came together over one of the most important works of Polish literature - “Dziady” by Adam Mickiewicz. This year's National Reading was a chance not only to recall the work of our national bard, but also to meet around literature and the beauty of the Polish language.
Passages from the work were read by invited guests and by members of Nieformalne Stowarzyszenie Moli Książkowych (the informal bookworms' society).
Our warm thanks go to all the Readers for their commitment and beautiful interpretation of the text, and to the Audience - for being there and sharing this literary event with us.
Participants could also collect the commemorative National Reading stamp and a souvenir magnet. At the end we invited everyone to refreshments, which gave a chance to talk, share impressions and spend a little more time together.

We are glad that once again we could show together that the classics of Polish literature still bring generations together and encourage people to pick up a book.
