PTTK membership is more than a membership card. It means insurance on trips, discounts, badges and people who make you want to get out of the house.
What membership gives you
- Personal accident insurance at PTTK events all over Poland - included in the membership fee.
- Discounts at PTTK hostels and facilities, and with the branch's partners.
- Tourist badges - points for every hike, verification at the branch.
- Priority at sign-up for the branch's coach trips and rallies.
- A voice in the branch - you elect its officers and help decide on the programme.
How to become a member
- Fill in the membership declaration (available at the branch office or at the next event).
- Pay the annual membership fee - the standard and reduced rates are set each year by the PTTK Main Board (Zarząd Główny PTTK); the branch office will give you the current rates.
- Collect your membership card with the stamp for the current year. Done - you are in PTTK.

Please write the transfer title in Polish, as in the examples.
Reduced fees are available to school pupils, students and pensioners, among others. Young people under 16 may belong to PTTK with their parents' consent.
Insurance for PTTK members
Every member with a paid-up fee is covered by personal accident insurance during events organised by PTTK units. Policy details and the scope of cover are published by the PTTK Main Board at pttk.pl.

This is not yet the membership declaration - that is signed in person at the office, which is also when you pay the fee and collect your membership card. We only ask for what we need to contact you and choose the right fee.
