Cycling rally to the viewing tower in Duszno

The cycling rally to the viewing tower in Duszno is behind us!
Today was all about activity, beautiful landscapes and a great atmosphere. As many as 18 cyclists set off from the beach in Rogowo to ride a scenic 66-kilometre route together, leading through:
Rogowo - Ryszewo - Gołąbki - Kruchowo - Wydartowo - Duszno - Przyjma - Palędzie Dolne - Sadowiec - Gołąbki - Długi Bród nature reserve - Bożacin - Rogowo.
On the way we stopped at the grave of Hipolit Cegielski in Ławki and at the grave of a Napoleonic soldier, getting to know interesting places linked to the history of our region.
When we reached Duszno, delicious refreshments were waiting for us - home-made cakes, coffee, tea and traditional bread with lard spread and gherkin. Everything tasted wonderful!

and Włodek for the warm welcome, the hospitality and for preparing such tasty refreshments. Thanks to you the day was even more special!
We thank all the participants for the time spent together, the smiles
and the excellent atmosphere. Rallies like this show that active leisure is best enjoyed in good company.

RULES OF THE CYCLING RALLY TO THE VIEWING TOWER IN DUSZNO
§ 1 Aim of the rally
The cycling rally is organised in order to:
explore the tourist
and sightseeing assets of Pałuki, promote an active
and healthy lifestyle, popularise cycle touring, bring together local residents
and cycle touring enthusiasts,
and encourage safe cycling.
§ 2 Organiser
The rally is organised by the PTTK Pałuki Branch in Żnin.
The rally will be led by members of the PTTK Pałuki Branch in Żnin.
§ 3 Date of the rally
The rally will take place on 12 July 2026 (Sunday).
Participants meet: 8:45
Start of the rally: 9:00
Start and finish: the beach in Rogowo
§ 4 Route of the rally
The route passes through:
Rogowo - Ryszewo - Kruchowo - Wydartowo - Duszno - Palędzie - Saduwiec - Jutrzenka - Gołąbki - Bożacin - Rogowo
The route is about 68 km long.
The route follows public roads
with asphalt and hard surfaces.
A stop is planned at the viewing tower in Duszno.
The rally is expected to finish at around 15:00-16:00.
§ 5 Organisation of the rally
The rally is open to everyone.
Participants ride in accordance with road traffic regulations.
The rally takes place on roads open to normal traffic.
Every participant must
take particular care.
The touring pace will be adapted to the abilities of the group.
During stops participants must
keep the place tidy and respect the natural environment.
§ 6 Sign-up and conditions of participation
To take part you must sign up using the online form included in the rally announcement.
Participants must pay a statutory fee of 20.00 zł.

Transfer title: “Opłata statutowa”
The statutory fee covers:
personal accident insurance (NNW),
sweet refreshments.
Participants must:
follow the rally rules,
follow the organisers' instructions,
have a bicycle in good working order.
Minors may take part
in the rally only in the care of an adult, who takes full responsibility for them.
Participants take part in the rally at their own risk.
Cycle helmets and reflective items are recommended.
§ 7 What the organiser provides
As part of the statutory fee the organiser provides:
personal accident insurance (NNW),
sweet refreshments,
organisational care during the rally.
§ 8 Final provisions
The organiser is not responsible
for items lost or left behind during the rally.
Those who cause damage to third parties are liable for that damage.
The organiser is not responsible
for incidents resulting from participants breaking road traffic regulations.
Participants agree to the free use of their image recorded during the rally in the organiser's promotional
and information materials.
The organiser reserves the right to change
the rules or cancel the rally for reasons beyond the organiser's control.
Signing up for the rally means that you accept these rules.
