End of Summer Cycling Rally 2026

Wind? It does not scare us!

This is how we ended the holidays on our bikes!
The weather was not kind to us from early morning and the wind made itself felt, but 11 determined cyclists had no intention of giving up!
On the way out the wind helped us, but on the way back we had to face it head-on!
Big thanks to Ryszard Górnikiewicz for preparing the route - as always, it was superb!
At the end sweet refreshments were waiting for us, prepared by members of PTTK in Żnin
Thank you for the ride together, the smiles and the good energy!
We already invite you to the next cycling rally, which will take place at the end of September!

RULES
OF THE “END OF SUMMER CYCLING RALLY”
Date: 5 September 2026
Meeting point: 9:45 - the Market Square (Rynek) in Żnin
Start: 10:00
Finish: COP - Centrum Organizacji Pozarządowych
Route length: approx. 52 km
Pace: touring
Organiser: PTTK Pałuki Branch in Żnin

1. Aim of the rally
The aim of the rally is to:
popularise cycle touring and active leisure,
promote the tourist and sightseeing assets of Pałuki,
encourage a healthy and active lifestyle,
bring participants together through shared tourism and recreation.

2. Route
Żnin (Rynek) - Jaroszewo - Brzyskorzystewko - Sobiejuchy - Dąbrówka Słupska - Wąsosz - Kowalewo - Zielonowo - Klotyldowo - Łabiszyn - Załachowo - Obielewo - Murczyn - Żnin (COP - Centrum Organizacji Pozarządowych).

3. Sign-up and entry fee
To take part in the rally you must sign up using the online form:

As part of the entry fee the organiser provides:
insurance for participants,
refreshments at the end of the rally.

4. Rules of participation
1. Participants must obey road traffic regulations and the instructions of the organiser and of those leading the group.
2. Every participant should have a bicycle in good working order, equipped in line with current regulations.
3. Participants must keep a safe distance from other cyclists and take particular care
at junctions and on sections of road with motor traffic.
4. Participants should adapt their riding to the conditions on the route and keep to the pace set by the rally leaders.
5. Riding in a cycle helmet is recommended.
Minors may take part in the rally in the care of an adult.

5. Final provisions
1. Signing up for the rally means that you accept these rules.
2. Participants take part in the rally with regard to their own abilities and physical fitness.
3. The organiser reserves the right to change the route if this is necessary for organisational or safety reasons.
4. If conditions make it impossible to hold the rally safely, the organiser may decide to change the date or cancel the event.
5. Participants must keep the route tidy and respect the natural environment throughout the rally.
6. Matters not covered by these rules are decided by the Organiser.
