2026 - the Year of PTTK Trails!
We are pleased to announce that, by resolution of the Main Board of the Polish Tourist and Sightseeing Society (Polskie Towarzystwo Turystyczno-Krajoznawcze, PTTK), 2026 has been declared the “Year of PTTK Trails”!
It is a perfect opportunity to get out even more often and discover Poland from the waymarked trails that PTTK has looked after for years.
Did you know that PTTK manages more than 73 000 km of trails across the country? It is an impressive network leading through mountains, lowlands, forests, towns and picturesque corners that we often have no idea exist!
They include, among others:
mountain hiking trails
lowland hiking trails
educational walking trails
walking paths
horse-riding trails
kayak routes
cycling routes
ski trails
Each of these trails is not just a line on the map, but history, nature and the people who waymark and maintain them with passion.
In 2026 we invite you to celebrate with us - earning badges, getting to know new routes and sharing your impressions from the trail.
