End of Summer Cycling Rally
Today we held the Cycling Rally that closes the summer season. Right up to the last moment the cyclists were unsure about the weather - the forecasts promised rain. Luckily the weather was kind to us and we enjoyed the route without a single drop of rain!
The most determined cyclists rode the route together, and in Jadowniki Bielskie sweet treats, coffee and tea were waiting for everyone. We thank the village head, Ms Agnieszka Lidman, for letting us use the "grzybek" shelter in Jadowniki Bielskie, and Centrum Sportów Wodnych w Żninie for hosting the end of the rally, where we rounded it off with a successful barbecue
Special thanks also go to Wandzia, Ewa
and Renata for preparing all the refreshments during the rally - your work made the atmosphere even more special!
We thank all the participants for a shared cycling adventure and invite you, already today, to the next events organised by the PTTK Pałuki Branch in Żnin.

Rules of the End of Summer Cycling Rally organised by the PTTK Pałuki Branch in Żnin
1. Organiser
The rally is organised by the Pałuki Branch of the Polish Tourist and Sightseeing Society (PTTK) in Żnin.
2. Aim of the rally
√to popularise cycling tourism,
√to discover the natural
and scenic assets of Pałuki,
√to bring the tourist community together,
√to promote an active and healthy lifestyle.
3. Date and place
√The rally will take place on 14 September 2025 (Sunday).
√Start and finish: Plac Wolności in Żnin.
√Start time: 10:00.
4. Course of the rally
√Participants meet at Plac Wolności
in Żnin.
√The ride follows the route: Żnin - Podgórzyn - Wenecja - Balczewo - Białożewin - Chomiąża Księża - Kierzkowo - Jadowniki Bielskie - Murczyn - Murczynek - Januszkowo - Żnin. Length of the route: approx. 33 km
√The route of the rally runs along asphalt roads.
5. Participation
√The rally is open to everyone.
√Anyone with a roadworthy bicycle and in good health may take part.
√Every participant must obey the rules of the road.
6. Registration and entry fee
√To take part in the rally you must register by private message and pay a fee of 20.00 zł, which covers accident insurance (NNW) and sweet refreshments, into the account of the PTTK Pałuki Branch in Żnin by 11 September 2025.

7. Safety rules
√The rally will ride in groups of 15 people
in each group (column).
√Participants must take particular care, must strictly obey road traffic regulations and must keep to the right-hand side of the road.
√The distance between columns must be at least 200 m.
√Touring pace of approx. 20 km/h.
√Do not block the road during stops. Every stop should be made off the carriageway, in a car park, a meadow or a clearing.
√Working brakes, lights and a cycle helmet are compulsory.
√The organisers accept no liability for accidents resulting from failure to follow the rules of the road and the instructions of the rally leaders.
√Every participant is responsible for their own safety and takes part in the rally at their own risk.
8. Final provisions
√The rally will take place whatever the weather.
√The organiser reserves the right to make changes to the rules and the route of the rally.
√Taking part in the rally means accepting these rules.
√Participants consent to the publication of photos from the rally for PTTK promotional purposes.
