JOIN US FOR A CYCLING RALLY RULES OF THE CYCLING RALLY “KU KACZYM DOŁOM”

I. ORGANISER
1. The cycling rally “Ku Kaczym Dołom” is organised by the PTTK Pałuki Branch in Żnin, ul. Śniadeckich 15, 88-400 Żnin
2. The Rally Leaders are:
Teresa Bogdańska - PTTK Cycling Tourism Leader (Przodownik Turystyki Kolarskiej PTTK) no. 7832,
Mariusz Bogdański - PTTK Cycling Tourism Leader (Przodownik Turystyki Kolarskiej PTTK) no. 7833.
II. AIMS OF THE RALLY
The cycling rally is organised in order to:
* popularise cycling tourism and active leisure;
* discover the sightseeing and natural assets of Pałuki;
* promote the region's cycling routes;
* promote a healthy and active lifestyle;
* bring cycling tourism enthusiasts together.
III. DATE AND ROUTE
1. The cycling rally will take place on 26 September 2026 (Saturday).
Start: participants meet at the Rynek in Żnin, 9:00.
Route: Żnin - Ku Kaczym Dołom - Żnin.
Length of the route: about 70 km.
Finish: Centrum Sportów Wodnych w Żninie.
Planned end: about 16:00.
2. The route follows asphalt roads, gravel roads, forest tracks and cycle paths.
3. The rally is ridden at a touring pace set by the rally leaders.
4. At the end of the rally there will be refreshments for the participants at CSW in Żnin.
IV. REGISTRATION AND FEE
1. Register using the online form by 24 September 2026 inclusive.

3. The cost of taking part is 20,00 zł per person.
4. Payments should be made to the account:

5. The fee covers taking part in the Rally, insurance to the extent provided by the Organiser and refreshments at the end.
V. RULES OF PARTICIPATION AND SAFETY
1. Participants must comply with these Rules, road traffic regulations and the instructions of the rally leaders.
2. Every participant should have a roadworthy bicycle suitable for a route with varied surfaces.
3. For safety reasons we recommend wearing a cycle helmet and having clothing suited to the weather conditions.
4. Participants must take care, keep a safe distance from other participants and ride in a way that does not endanger their own safety or that of others.
5. The rally takes place on roads open to traffic. Participants must obey the road traffic regulations in force.
6. Participants should ride as a group and follow the guidance of the rally leaders.
7. Under-18s may take part in the Rally in the care of a parent or legal guardian, or on terms agreed in advance with the Organiser.
VI. FINAL PROVISIONS
1. The Organiser reserves the right to change the route, shorten it or change the rally programme, and also to cancel or stop the rally, in particular because of bad weather, obstructions on the route or other circumstances affecting the safety of participants.
2. Participants must look after the natural environment and leave no litter on the route.
3. The Organiser accepts no liability for participants' personal belongings lost, left behind or damaged during the rally.
4. Registering for the rally means accepting these Rules.
Matters not covered by the Rules are decided by the Organiser.
