III Cross-Country March in Memory of the Greater Poland Insurgents
The PTTK Pałuki Branch in Żnin had the honour of co-organising a special event commemorating the heroes of the Greater Poland Uprising.
During the march the participants heard an interesting talk by Włodzimierz Sulecki about the bunker by Małe Jezioro in Żnin. The story of this place aroused great interest
and helped everyone get to know local history and the memory of the past even better.
At the end of the event the President of the PTTK Pałuki Branch in Żnin, Magdalena Gabryszak, presented the participants with tourist badges
at bronze, silver and gold level. She was accompanied during the presentation by the PTTK treasurer, Wanda Peplińska.
We thank all the participants, organisers and everyone involved
in preparing this event for the time spent together, for remembering history and for the wonderful atmosphere.
